EVERY DAY - ALL YEAR ROUND
MORNING BATH
All women are welcome for a morning dip with the swimming club.
We stay in Sildkassen by Draget and bathe every morning at 9.00 - all year round.
SPRING-AUTUMN-WINTER
COMMON DINING
The residents' association is responsible for communal meals. We meet approximately once a month - except in the summer.
Two courses and coffee and cake are served -
and then we are helped with the dishes.
SUMMER - WEEK 27
HORSESHOE THROW
The summer's many activities are kicked off with the annual hawker's market at the harbour, where residents set up stalls and sell various effects.
Meanwhile, the annual horseshoe is fought
tournament. Horseshoe throwing is also referred to as Omø's national sport.
SUMMER - WEEK 29
FOOTBALL SCHOOL
Omø football school is for all children - both the permanent residents and the island's guests.
It's four days of fun training that culminates in a bang of a final match.

SUMMER WEEK 30
SWIMMING SCHOOL
In recent years, there has been a swimming school for the island's children and guests at the harbour.
There are teams for both beginners and intermediates.

SUMMER - WEEK 29
SAIL RACING
Omø's harbor party is called racing and covers several days of partying on the harbor with, among other things, a beach bar, live music and, of course, a race.

SUMMER - WEEK 30
CULTURE DAYS
Omø Kulturdage is three days full of cultural elements, workshops and
live band and communal dining every evening Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Ø-LEJER
I hele sommerferien arrangeres der Ø-lejrunder forskellige tema. Der er f.eks. uger beregnet til kvinder, familier, irsk uge og forskellige andre - se mere her.
WINTER - JANUARY 5
HOLY THREE KINGS
Omø is one of the few places in Denmark where we still celebrate Holy Three Kings.
You dress up as you want - it's about not being recognized - and then we go from door to door.

WINTER - LAST EVE
LENT ALIVE
Mardi Gras on Omø is something quite special. Here, all the island's children go in Mardi Gras processions following the age-old traditions in traditional costumes. They collect money, which is used for a big joint Mardi Gras party, to which everyone is welcome.
