Please put waste and empty bottles in the bins and bottle containers. Omø recycling plant (genbrugsstation) is open Wednesday 12.00 – 16.00 and Saturday 9.00 – 14.00

You can camp on the area by the marina. About charges, contact the harbour master. See: Omø Lystbådehavn og camping
Drinking water
The water supply which is limited comes from Omø´s own waterworks. Please use it with care. Water on the boat bridges must not be used for washing of boats.
Ferry
During the summer, there are 8 daily departures between Omø and Stigsnæs, connecting with local bus to Skælskør. Timetable and prices at the back of the Tourist Information brochure. See: Færgeselskabet Vestsjælland
Recycling Plant
You can hand in all kinds of refuse, except kitchen waste. Opening hours: Wednesday12 – 16 and Saturday 9 – 14

Toilets and showers
There are toilets and showers by the harbour office and the marina service building. Charge for shower 5 dkr. There is also a public toilet by the church.
Traffic
Omø is a small island which means you can get around on foot or a bike. If you are driving, be considerate of pedestrians, since the islanders and tourists are not used to running for their lives. It is not permitted to drive on the beaches or private roads.

Water sports
You can surf, dive, swim, water ski etc. Please be aware of possible strong currents close to the shore. If you are using a motor boat, show consideration.
